With Kent known as the Garden of England you really would not want to miss the chance to see some of our beautiful gardens in full bloom.
Our own garden really has come into its own since Spring has begun, albeit a little later than usual this year! However, I can also recommend the National Open Garden Scheme if you would like to explore other areas in Kent.
This is a scheme where local people open their own beautifully cultivated gardens to the public in return for a small donation which is passed on to one of the following charities:
- The Queen’s Nursing Institute
- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Marie Curie
- Carers Trust
- Hospice UK
- Perennial
- Parkinson’s UK
and other guest charities.
